Adopt a Chihuahua (short coat)

Diego is an 8 year old chihuahua mix who is looking for a new home to start the new year in! Diego's rescue story started when an employee found him tied to the front door of our rescue one morning. After taking him in and making sure he was healthy, the search for his family started. When no family was found, we got Diego a rabies and discovered he needed a dental. Now, Diego's smile is all polished up and pearly white and he is ready to find the love of a family! Diego is a sweet and quiet boy who gets along with other dogs, but mostly just keeps to himself. He'd make a great lap dog on movie night and snuggle buddy on Saturday mornings. Diego does well with his house training here, so we are hopeful that with a few reminders he will be potty trained in a home. Diego weighs 20 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $220. His adoption fee includes a free vet visit as well as 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesaday to Sunday 11-6. Call for locations on weekend as we have off site adoption events that some dogs attend.
